In 1989, Charlie Dominici sang on the first Dream Theater album 'When Dream and Day Unite', then he departed from the band. For many years there were no musical signs of life until he finally conceived the story for a concept work spread on three albums, the first part of which he finished all on his own and only with the use of an acoustic guitar and a blues harp that gave the album an intimate singer/songwriter feel.
