Timeloss

The debut album of this Swedish avantgarde acts around singer Petronella and her husband, drummer Ricard Huxflux Nettermalm, was originally only available in Sweden. The style of the quintet could be described as prog fusion: Paatos unite classical prog and jazz elements with nordic folk and even modern electronic break beats, as for instance in the 12 minute song Quits. Adding to that is Petronella Nettermalm's beguiling singing who don't need to be afraid of comparisons to Björk. And the guest musicians', the wind section, put up a wild improvisational battle.

As a reissue Timeloss also includes, apart from an extended 16-page booklet, a video for the song Hypnotique in Quicktime format.
