Extinct Instinct (Special Edition)

Three years after the last studio album Psychedelicatessen Threshold came back to the prog metal stage with their third CD Extinct instinct. Back in 1997 the British sounded more sophisticated, more metallic, more varied - in short: simply good. As a particularly well-done tightrope act between progressive rock and metal the ten minute track Eat The Unicorn stands out. On this song aggressive parts mix with hymnic neo prog guitar soli and dark keyboard elements.

New edition of this third album released in 1997. Again with singer Sänger Damian Wilson who had left the band after the debut album. Special edition in slipcase. Remastered, with extended 20 page booklet and three bonus tracks.
