With three long tracks and a shorter ballad, 'Solo Scriptura'- a prog concept album about Martin Luther - presents the entire range of Morsean art compositions: orchestral, pompous, and mature sound that combines melodic elegies followed by massive Yes-fragments or more mainstream-committed, often with fast-pacing hard rock moments of a more complex nature. This being added with each a dash of classic and jazz, elements of folk and even Latin influences.
Drummer Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater / Transatlantic) and bassist Randy George (Bass) - Morse's approved associates - were augmented by guitarist Paul Gilbert (former Mr Big), whose ludicrous solos are a valuable asset to the band.
